The violent use of state power to dictate personal choices is much conspicuous across various social happenings in India. When this heavy-handedness is being used to crush people instead of negotiating, a severe backlash is just round the corner for to continue a robust democracy.

Design Decisions: Human self-expression and Individual style has always been a powerful force that forms one of the pillars of economy. It creates products that sell. In our present global scenario it is crucial to assess how we channel our creative energy for a worthy purpose. Two aspects in the above visual are the bare bodied old person representing “aabhaav” (lack of essentials) with vulnerability and various creative masks which raises the question are we rationally using our energy and resources. Both the aspects has been juxtaposed in the video to signify that they both exists at the same time and needs our conscious intervention. In between halt to plain masks gives time to reflect that the plain mask would do just fine.

Design Decisions: “Coronavirus” has been characterized to give a horrific persona, to signify the havoc and hypertension it created across all human community. The word “Outside ?” has a dual purpose. It reemphasizes the fear of getting infected outside and also asks whether anybody would dare to violate the lockdown by leaving the safety of their home. The gradual colorization of the question mark to red signifies the intensity with which people shall now be careful for survival. The shaky effect and the background sound relates to the tensed global atmosphere. The font has been selected to complement the pencil sketch illustration on paper.
